Limitations and notes

  • The pick uses the browser's secure random generator, without bias.
  • You can remove the winner from the list to take turns.
  • With more than 14 names the wheel does not print labels; the winner always appears as text.
  • If you prefer less motion, your system setting is respected and the result shows at once.

Is the wheel really random?

Yes: the winner is picked with the browser's secure random generator and every name has the same probability. The animation only shows the result.

Can I take turns without repeating anyone?

Yes. Turn on “Remove the winner from the list” and each spin picks someone different until nobody is left.
