How to use: CSV chart generator

  1. Paste your CSV data or load a file (or try the example).
  2. Choose the chart type, the labels column and the columns with the values; adjust the number format if needed.
  3. Check the chart and the data table and download it as SVG or PNG.

What it accepts and what you get

Input
CSV or TSV text up to 5 MB (comma, semicolon, tab or pipe delimiter). Numbers can be written as 1234.56 or 1.234,56.
Output
A bar, line or pie chart as SVG (vector) and PNG, plus a table of the data drawn.
Where your data is processed
Your data is processed in your browser and is not sent to our servers.

Limitations and notes

  • At most 100 rows and 6 value columns are drawn; if there are more, the notice under the chart says how many are left out.
  • Cells that are not numbers are left as gaps and counted in a notice; they are never treated as zero.
  • A pie chart cannot show negative values and groups the smallest slices as “Other” when there are more than 12.

Frequently asked questions

Is my data sent to a server?

No. The chart is generated in your browser and the data never leaves your device.
