Input
A JPG, PNG or WebP image; the result cannot exceed 50 megapixels or 16,384 px on a side, and the tool tells you the maximum for your image.

An image with its size multiplied by 2, 3 or 4, with the real size shown before and after.
Where your data is processed
Your data is processed in your browser and is not sent to our servers.

Limitations and notes

  • It is interpolation, not artificial intelligence: it adds no detail the photo does not have, it only makes it larger and smoother.
  • Sharpness boosts edges and can also emphasise noise or JPG artefacts; start low.
  • EXIF information (camera, location) is dropped when the new image is saved.

Frequently asked questions

Will it improve a blurry photo?

No. If the original is out of focus or heavily compressed, the enlarged version will be too. Really adding detail would need an AI model, which this tool does not use.
