What it accepts and what you get

An Excel (.xlsx) file with one sheet per page: tables as rows and columns, numbers as numbers and the rest of the text in column A.
Where your data is processed
Your data is processed in your browser and is not sent to our servers.

Limitations and notes

  • Tables are detected from how the text is aligned: check the result, especially with merged cells or several tables side by side.
  • Scanned PDFs, or PDFs whose tables are drawn as an image, have no text: run the OCR tool first.
  • Codes with leading zeros (06228) and dates stay as text.

Frequently asked questions

Why does a number come out as text?

It becomes a number only when it matches the chosen format (decimal comma or point). If your PDF mixes formats, change the option and convert again.

How do I turn a PDF table into Excel?

Upload a PDF with selectable text and press “Create Excel (XLSX)”. Each table becomes rows and columns and numbers become numeric cells; the rest of the text stays in column A.

Is my data uploaded to a server?

No. The conversion runs in your browser and the PDF never leaves your device.

When to use it

  • When you have a table in a PDF (an invoice, a statement, a list) and want to work with it in Excel.
  • To sum, sort or filter data you only have as a PDF.

Examples

Invoice lines
You upload the PDF, choose decimal comma and get each line in a row with quantities and amounts as numbers.
A long list
Each page of the PDF becomes a sheet of the Excel file.

Common mistakes

  • Uploading a scan: without text in the PDF you need to run OCR first.
  • Not checking the columns: tables are detected from text alignment and merged cells may come out split.
  • Choosing the wrong decimal separator: numbers will not match the format and will stay as text.
