How to use: Wholesale supplier finder
- Type the country and city you want to search in, then pick the product type and the distance.
- Press “Find suppliers” and review the list: each business shows address, phone, website and distance where that data exists.
- Filter to those with contact details, sort them or download the list as CSV, and confirm the details before you get in touch.
What it accepts and what you get
- Input
- A country, a city, a product type (or any), a distance and, if you like, an extra word such as “rice” or “t-shirts”.
- Output
- A list of wholesalers and trade shops in the area with the data available, and a downloadable CSV that credits its source (OpenStreetMap).
- Where your data is processed
- The search (city, country and business type) is sent from your browser to the public OpenStreetMap services; this site does not store it or ask for an account. The data is community-made and may be incomplete or out of date.
Limitations and notes
- The data comes from OpenStreetMap, a community-kept map: businesses, phones or addresses may be missing or out of date. Some areas have far less data than others.
- The search is sent from your browser to the public OpenStreetMap services; this site does not store it. Their free servers can be busy: if it fails, wait a minute or reduce the distance.
- A business appearing here is not a recommendation or a guarantee of its quality or reliability. Always check a supplier before you pay.
- Only businesses listed in OpenStreetMap are shown. People and private data are not searched.
- The product type is matched against the business name and tag; if nothing matches you are offered all wholesalers in the area.
Frequently asked questions
Where does the data come from?
From OpenStreetMap, under the open ODbL licence. Data © OpenStreetMap contributors.
Why are there few results in my city?
Because some areas of OpenStreetMap have fewer businesses recorded. Try a larger distance, another product type or a nearby city.
Can I use the CSV?
Yes, respecting the licence: you must credit “© OpenStreetMap contributors”. The file already includes that credit.
When to use it
- When you are starting a business and do not know where to buy wholesale.
- To compare several nearby wholesalers before asking for a quote.
- To build a supplier list in a new city.
Examples
- Food in Madrid
- Country Spain, city Madrid, type “Food and drinks”, 15 km.
- Textile in Lahore
- Country Pakistan, city Lahore, type “Clothing, textile and shoes”, 30 km.
- With an extra word
- Add “rice” to keep only those that mention it in their name or tag.
Common mistakes
- Trusting a detail without confirming it: phone and address may be out of date.
- Paying upfront to an unknown supplier.
- Searching a tiny distance in an area with little data.
