Query up to 5 documents (PDF, TXT, MD) and get an answer with the passages used. Only a few passages are sent to the AI provider.

How to use: Document Q&A

  1. Select up to 5 documents (PDF, TXT or MD).
  2. Check the count of documents, pages and passages.
  3. Ask a question that mentions keywords from the documents.
  4. Read the answer and open the cited passages to verify it.

What it accepts and what you get

Input
Up to 5 PDF (with text), TXT or MD files, up to 25 MB each.
Output
One answer per question, with the passages (file and page) used as sources.
Where your data is processed
The documents are read in your browser and only a few relevant passages (never the whole files) are sent to the AI provider. TodoToolsOnline does not store or log it, but the provider handles it under its own policy. Do not include confidential data.

Limitations and notes

  • Files are read in your browser; only a few relevant passages are sent.
  • Each question is independent: it does not remember earlier ones (use “Chat with PDF” for that).
  • Passage search works on words, not meaning.
  • TodoToolsOnline does not store or log the content; the AI provider handles it under its own policy: do not include confidential data.
  • AI can make mistakes: always check the result.
  • There are per-minute and daily usage limits to prevent abuse.
  • If the administrator has not switched the provider on, the tool says so and processes nothing.
