How to use: Invoice & receipt extractor

  1. Choose a text-PDF invoice or receipt (or a TXT).
  2. Wait for the data to be extracted and review every field.
  3. Fix what is needed: marked fields do not appear in the document text.
  4. Look at the arithmetic checks and download the CSV or JSON.

What it accepts and what you get

Input
A PDF with selectable text or a TXT of up to 25 MB; at most the first 12,000 characters are sent.
Output
Editable fields (supplier, tax ID, dates, currency, subtotal, tax, total), line items, CSV and JSON.
Where your data is processed
The invoice text (read in your browser) is sent to the AI provider to extract the data. TodoToolsOnline does not store or log it, but the provider handles it under its own policy. Do not include confidential data.

Limitations and notes

  • The sums (lines, subtotal, tax and total) are recalculated in your browser and any difference is flagged.
  • A value the AI returns that does not appear in the text is marked; do not use it without checking.
  • This is not an accounting or tax validation.
  • Scanned invoices need to go through “OCR for PDF” first.
  • TodoToolsOnline does not store or log the content; the AI provider handles it under its own policy: do not include confidential data.
  • AI can make mistakes: always check the result.
  • There are per-minute and daily usage limits to prevent abuse.
  • If the administrator has not switched the provider on, the tool says so and processes nothing.
