Chain PDF steps (merge, extract, rotate, number, compress, protect…) into one workflow and save it as JSON. Everything in your browser.

How to use: Multi-step workflows

  1. Load the PDF (or several, if the first step is “Merge the files”) and press “Load example” or add your own steps.
  2. Order the steps and fill in their options; a notice tells you what is missing before the workflow can run.
  3. Press “Run workflow”, check the step-by-step log and download the final PDF. You can save the workflow as JSON to reuse it.

What it accepts and what you get

Input
One or more PDFs without a password (up to 25 MB each) and up to 10 steps.
Output
A PDF with the result of all the steps and a log with the pages and size after each step.
Where your data is processed
Your data is processed in your browser and is not sent to our servers.

Limitations and notes

  • Each step works on the real output of the previous one: page ranges are checked against the pages left at that point.
  • If a step fails the workflow stops, says which one failed and the following steps do not run.
  • “Protect with a password” can only be the last step. The password is never stored or written to the JSON file.
  • Page steps apply to the whole document: for other settings (font size, colour…) use the individual tool.
