How to use: Chapter generator

1. 1Paste the timed transcript or load an SRT, VTT or TXT file.
2. 2Choose the maximum number of chapters.
3. 3Press “Generate chapters”.
4. 4Copy the list and paste it in your video description.

What it accepts and what you get

Input

Text with times: SRT, VTT or “[mm:ss] text” lines (up to 5 MB).

Output

A “mm:ss Title” list that starts at 00:00, ready for YouTube.

Where your data is processed

The transcript (sampled by time block) is sent to the AI provider to propose the titles. TodoToolsOnline does not store or log it, but the provider handles it under its own policy. Do not include confidential data.

Limitations and notes

• Times always come from your transcript: any invented time is discarded.
• If the transcript is long, a sample by time block is sent.
• If the first proposed chapter does not start at 00:00, an introduction chapter is added.
• TodoToolsOnline does not store or log the content; the AI provider handles it under its own policy: do not include confidential data.
• AI can make mistakes: always check the result.
• There are per-minute and daily usage limits to prevent abuse.
• If the administrator has not switched the provider on, the tool says so and processes nothing.
